The QJ-8 is an all metal, lightweight, 80% CNC machined heli with 120-degree CCPM swashplate collective control. The QJ-8 is the most popular heli in Japan today, perfect for the beginning pilot with a 3 cell Li-Poly battery. This heli is also excellent for transitioning to high performance 3-D flight maneuvers without having to add any upgrades. Can be purchased w/all equipment, just add your rec. and gyro, "See Combo Page". NO UPGRADES are needed for 3-D flying! You must make sure your ESC is capable of handling your cell count you plan to run in your heli. Both the Li-poly 3 cell 11.1V and the 4 cell 14.8 V packs have been used on the QJ8. Series 3 and 4 cells making 6 and 8 cell packs for 3-D have been used on this machine. The QJ-8 is very economical for the beginning pilot to equip with 1200-1400 kv motor and low cost Electronic Speed Control (ESC). "See Additional Items Page". The QJ8 Sportsman is capable of 3-D flight straight out of the box by adding a 4 to 8 cell Li-Poly battery with a recommended maximum main rotor head speed of 2400 RPM's. The QJ8 is a 3-D machine out of the box. Quick recommends any of the following motors: The Hacker A30-10L, A30-8XL, A30-10XL, A30-12XL, Outrunner Motor, the AXI 282010, the Himax 2815-1400, the Mega 16/25/4 or any other compatible motor using a suitable motor mount. The QJ-8 main frame uses micro servos such as the Quick BMS280MG, Hitec HS-81, Hitec HS-85, HS81MG, HS-85BB, the Futaba 3101, or the JR341. Digital servos are good on 3-D machines. G10 Fiberglass frames are available in blue and black. The Quick of Japan helis are known for Japanese CNC precision and quality ball bearings.
