This EP 9 newest release from Quick of Japan has the heavy duty parts for hard 3-D flight maneuvers. 

This heli is longer than the EP8 EX and uses all standard size servos and a constant tail rotor drive system. Longer tail boom and tail belt are used. The phase adjusting head is used and a new 8mm main shaft which is not undercut. The motor mount is common to the EP8 LP & LX & the SP. A 27 tooth counter gear is used. 

The EP9 and the EP8, EP18 have many common parts. You can upgrade an EP8 to an EP9. 

This kit was developed for the pilot that wants higher head speed for the upper level performance. The Li-poly 4 to 9 cell batteries will be used on this heli. The new designed head, main shaft, and etc. were developed over the past year by Quick of Japan will give the smooth control with quality flying characteristics with more size than the EX. 

The QJ-9 main frame uses standard size servos such as JR539 or the Futaba 3150. Digital servos can enhance the performance of this helicopter.
