KDS INNOVA Series helicopters have much more enhancing in quality and performance after the upgrading and improvement. Innova 600 has upgraded some parts to improve flight performance. The Simple but more efficient construction decreases the failure rate of main rotor head.
First, the main rotor head has a big change. It adopts the most popular DFC (Direct Flight Control) design. According to the testing of all our pilots, this special design makes 3D flight more flexible and faster.
The material of tail gear was changed to fully aluminum alloy. It is more unbreakable and impact resistance. The Main gear mount was changed to three bearings structure to relieve the pressure of one way bearing. The structure can help protect the one-way bearing and makes operation more smooth and stabilize when throttle lock.
All KDS canopies are hand-painted, and we also provide various kinds of hand-painted canopies for some commonly used designs on sale.
The motor mount is up and down separating design. The installation of motor is fastening.
The main shaft bearing block was designed with the fixed form of lower, middle and upper decks. This upgrade help eliminate vibration when helicopter doing high speed rotating.
There is adding a fixed plate to both sides of carbon fiber frame, which improves its strength. We find that the frame is well protected and only has little damage when crash happens from testing experience
We make a thicker, 25mm tail boom. The thicker tail boom reduces the transmission of tail unit resonance to the frame, and it also help provide more stable flight.
The carbon fiber board structure of tail unit is more simple and easy maintenance.
The helicopter is provided with necessary electronics, for example, Motor, ESC, servo, UBCE and KDS FBL system.
The digital servos N680 and N690 can meet the demand of flying of normal pilots. To entrants, they can try other servos.
KDS FBL System was developed with MEMS technology. The matching with N690 digital servo makes the tail rudder of your helicopter has perfect locking control performance. The helicopter has great spin control effect, and is much more flexible as well. You can adjust the model based on personal preference.
700-size helicopters have high requirement on power and control equipment. The key on selecting electronics shall be the performance. According to our testing, Scorpion 5020-450KV is accepted for normal flight. But to the skilled pilots who are very demanding on power, it is recommended to try the motor Scorpion 4525-520KV. The motor with 8KW power can help play fully to the excellent performance.
The load current of 700-size helicopter can reach around 110 A. It is recommended to select ESC with 120A -160A, and then do not worry about that the ESC will be over-current protection and lead to out of control due to the excessive current of motor. Most of pilots select ESC with 160A, even 200A for competitions, and ensure there is a safe and stable flight.
To get the full performance, it is recommended to use 12S 4200MAH LIPO battery at least. power supply, you can use 2 group of 6S Lipo battery for series-wound, each group is 22.2V 4200-5200MAH 30C or above. We suggest you can use 2 group of KDS 4200-5200MAH 22.2V 30-45C batteries to series-wound. It suitable for each class more longer and powerful flight.
